Kids learn the basics of rigging and sailing small boats in a safe and fun environment.
One week-long, half day sailing program for youths 8-17 years old. Younger kids (8-12 and/or under 120 pounds) sail Optimist Prams, or Optis, an 8-foot, one-person boat. Older kids (ages 13-17) sail 14-foot double-handed Club 420s. Most class time is spent on the water, combining sailing drills and fun activities. All instructors are US Sailing certified.
Meets Monday through Friday.

Kids who have successfully completed two or more beginning classes or have other sailing experience learn to handle their boats on all points of sail and practice rounding marks, tacking, and gybing.
